My Education

College Students

Educational Technology Leadership at Lamar University

I completed a 30-credit hour online M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership program while working as a High School Science Teacher. I designed to develop expertise in integrating technology into educational settings. This program equipped me with a deep understanding of the learning process, how technology can enhance academic growth, and the design of instructional materials. Key areas of study included applying leadership theories to build supportive learning communities, mastering video and multimedia design, and gaining advanced skills in educational technology, IT, graphic design, and desktop publishing. My career outcomes include roles such as Education Technologist, Instructional Designer, Professional Development Specialist, Curriculum Coordinator, and Instructional Coordinator. Originally, the purpose of this website, was to serve as a repository of documentation during my journey at Lamar. Our professors guided and prompted our entries. My culminating project was designed to be an Innovation Technology Plan.
